Microblading and semi-permanent brows near Manchester
Semi-permanent makeup places pigment into the upper layers of the skin to enhance your features. For eyebrows, it can help brows look fuller, more even and more defined, without filling them in every morning. If you are looking for microblading in Manchester, our Urmston clinic offers four semi-permanent brow treatments.
Choose microblading for hair-like strokes, microshading for a soft powdered look, ombré brows for a gradient finish, or our semi-permanent eyebrow treatment. Because this is a longer-lasting treatment, we recommend contacting the clinic to discuss your brows before you book.
Semi-permanent brow treatments and prices
Four semi-permanent eyebrow options, each listed separately in our online booking.
- Hair strokes
Microblading

Is semi-permanent makeup right for you?
Semi-permanent makeup is a longer-lasting cosmetic treatment, so it is important to plan it carefully. Please contact the clinic before booking to discuss your brows, ask about a patch test, and mention any skin conditions, allergies, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or a tendency to scar, as the treatment may not be suitable for everyone.
Pigment fades gradually over time, and how long results last varies from person to person. Ask the clinic about top-up appointments and what to expect while your brows heal.
Worth discussing first
- The brow shape, colour and look you want
- Whether a patch test is needed
- Skin conditions, allergies, medication or pregnancy
- Healing, aftercare and top-ups
Microblading, microshading or ombré brows?
All three are semi-permanent brow techniques, but they create different looks. Microblading mimics individual hairs, which many people choose for a natural result. Microshading uses tiny dots for a softer, powdered effect, and ombré brows build a gradient from a soft front to a more defined tail.
The right technique depends on your natural brows, your skin and the look you want. Your consultation is the best time to decide.
Techniques at a glance
| Technique | How it works | Look |
|---|---|---|
| Microblading | Hand-drawn hair-like strokes | Natural, feathered brows |
| Microshading | Tiny dots of pigment | Soft, powdered look |
| Ombré Brows | Shading from light to defined | Gradient, filled-in look |
